बोलने का नहीं चुप रहने का मन चाहता है ऐसे हालात में तू लुत्फ़-ए-सुखन चाहता है अबरार काशिफ़ साहब का अस्ल नाम अबरार अहमद काशिफ़ है। अबरार काशिफ़ साहब का जन्म 03 दिसंबर 1968 को महाराष्ट्र के एक स्थान अकोला में हुआ। अबरार काशिफ़ साहब ने शायरी की दुनिया में नाम कमाया और अपना तख़ल्लुस "काशिफ़" रखा। अबरार काशिफ़ साहब एक नाज़िम हैं लेकिन बुनियादी तौर पर शायर हैं। अबरार काशिफ़ साहब के पर्दादा "ग़ुलाम यासीन ख़ुर्शीद" और उनके वालिद "ग़ुलाम हुसैन राज़" भी शायर थे। अबरार काशिफ़ साहब अपनी चौथी पीढ़ी के शायर हैं और अबरार काशिफ़ साहब की बेटी भी एक शायरा हैं। उम्र गुज़री है इसी दश्त की तय्यारी में पाँचवीं पुश्त है शब्बीर की मददाही में अबरार काशिफ़ साहब ने निज़ामत की इब्तेदा कॉलेज और छोटे-छोटे मुशायरों से की और अदब की दुनिया में अपना नाम रौशन किया। आज अबरार काशिफ़ साहब को उर्दू शायरी की बिना पर पहचाना जाता है। मैंने सीखा है ज़माने से मोहब्बत करना तेरा पैग़ाम-ए-मोहब्बत मेरे काम आया है
