As Muslims, we all know that the verse of Ayatul kursi holds great importance and power. It is something we have been taught by our parents and teachers and scholars. But where did they get it from? What are the benefits of making a routine of reciting Ayatul Kursi? The th verse from the second surah of Quran is known as Ayatul Kursi (verse of the throne). It is a very powerful ayah with a lot of merits. Ayatul Kursi describes many attributes of Allah (SWT) – no deity is worthy of worship other than Allah (SWT) the Ever-living, The Sustainer of (All) Existence, the rightful owner of the Heaven and the Earth, He is never overtaken by drowsiness nor sleep, Owner of the Thorne. This verse describes more than 15 qualities of Allah.
