TNN / Jan 29, 2023, 08:44 (IST) A group of people blocked the way of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav while he was going to attend a mahayagna of Mata pitambara peeth in Lucknow on Saturday. The protesters described the incident as an attack by goons of the BJP and its offshoots. Akhilesh said he was stopped from attending the mahayagna because for the BJP, backwards and Dalits were shudras though no organization had taken the responsibility for the protest. Late Saturday evening, the protest appeared to be a part of demonstrations being held by Hindu organizations against SP leader Swami Prasad Maurya's statement seeking removal of some objectionable verses from Tulsidas's Ramcharitmanas which he described as disrespectful for backwards Dalits, tribals and women. Akhilesh said it was not only about the ruckus created to stop him from attending the mahayagna but those who invited him to the event were being threatened by the BJP and the RSS. "They are receiving threats regularly now. Is the BJP going to decide who will attend a religious event and who will not? Who has given them the authority?" he said talking to the media after the incident. • It is very nice service ApniSanskriti Team is doing for Vedic Hindu religion. According to me writing articles on Hindu spiritualities and attracting a good number of peoples towards spiritual lifestyle, Hindu culture is a very tough task. I am saying this because nowadays new generation is least interested in this topics. We neglect rituals importance but ultimately they hold us back to our philosophy, Example - worshiping trees, animals - seeing God in everything. ।३||" • 1 Suprabhatam Seva in Tirumala, Tirupati: At the temple, a day usually begins with th... • 2 Mahakali Temple, Adiware, Rajapur, Maharashtra: Mahakali Temple is situated at Adiw... • 3 Mahalakshmi Temple, Dahanu, Palghar, Maharashtra: Mahalaxmi Temple is located aroun... • 4 Mangueshi Temple, Goa: Shri Mangueshi Temple is 400 old and dedicated to Lord Shiva... • 5 Badami Cave Temple, Karnataka: ...

Pitambara Peeth, Datia

We Visited this shaktipeeth in the month of December and would recommend this to every traveler. Temple is superbly managed and you will came across very few temples in India like this. There was a calmness & energy in the environment. Darshan was very smooth too and there was no hush hush like any other celebrated places. Must visit temple for every one Visited this temple on 14th October 2020. Very sacred temple with divine spirituality. I must state that I was very lucky to have darshan of the holy diety with in few minutes because of covid 19. Must visit for all. Temple authorities are following all safety norms like social distancing, no touch anywhere , proper sanitizing etc etc. Being my first visit to the shakti peeth, it was an awe-inspiring experience. It is said that whosoever visits the temple with a problem, the same is resolved. The ashram established by Maharaj ji (nothing is known about his background - as to where he came from etc etc) has two deities Pitambara devi and Dhumavati mai ... This a holy place and not a tourist attraction as such. I reached here early morning at around 8 so the "darshan" was without waiting in any queue. The devotees can buy prasad at a nominal cost and can carry it to your home town. The prasad remains in good condition for 7 days. Photography, mobile phones not allowed inside the premises, so keep it in your car. Time spent if there is no queue - 15 mins. You can eat local food outside the temple. Washrooms not seen anywhere....

According to temple regulations, devotees are allowed between 12 noon and 2pm, and no one is allowed after that. She was also denied a visit to the sanctum sanctorum. Temple priest Monu Tiwari explained to reporters, "As per temple rules, it is mandatory for women to wear sarees if they want to enter the sanctum sanctorum.
