According to reports, two persons with sharp-edged weapons went to a shop in Udaipur and brutally murdered the shopkeeper in broad daylight. Both the accused have been arrested from the Rajsamand area in Rajasthan. Reports say that the accused came to a tailor's shop on the pretext of giving measurements for clothes and then brutally killed the shopkeeper. The victim has been identified as Kanhaiyalal. Accused filmed the crime The accused murderers not only brutally beheaded the tailor but also filmed the entire crime. The incident happened around 2:30 pm on Monday when a person named Riyaz along with one another arrived on a motorcycle. In a video clip, Akhtari declared that they had “beheaded” the man and went on to threaten Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying their knife will get him as well. Indirectly, the assailants also referred to Nupur Sharma, the BJP leader suspended from the party over a remark on Prophet Mohammad. UDAIPUR: A video purportedly shot 12 days before Riyaz, who introduces himself as a resident of Udaipur's Khanji Peer locality and mentions that the 2:33-minute clip was shot on June 17, goes on to exhort other Muslims to behead those who insult their religion. "I have a family and a job, but I am not worried...If death comes, it is heaven. I am not scared of going to jail either," he says. "If you murder people for other reasons, why can't you murder someone in the name of God?" As the funeral procession of Kanhaiya Lal started out on Wednesday from his house, hundreds of people chanted slogans at once angry and spirited, report Dishank Purohit & Claude D'Souza. "People from one community were harassing him. He informed the police but they brushed his concerns away and advised him to install CCTV cameras," said Lal's assistant Priyamvat Deval. Lal's family told TOI that the alleged social media post attributed to him was never made by him. Yashoda, Lal's wife, said, "Random people would stop by his shop and threaten to behead and bury him, but the police slept over his complaints."

Tarsem Puri was arrested by Sangaria police station personnel, Rajkumar Jat and Mohammad Shakur by Sadar police station personnel and Pavan Kumar by Nohar police station personnel for uploading photos and videos on social media with arms with an intention to create terror among people, the SP said. A tailor, Kanhaiya Lal, was hacked to death by two men, Riaz Akhtari and Ghouse Mohammad, with a cleaver at his shop in Udaipur’s Dhan Mandi area to avenge an “insult to Islam”. The Anti-Terror Squad (ATS), Udaipur, will probe the role of Kanhaiya Lal’s neighbour in the murder. The ATS also recovered two blood-stained weapons from the possession of the accused, Riyaz Akhtari and Ghaus Mohammad, on Thursday. The weapons were recovered from an office of the aide of the accused in Udaipur's Sapetiya locality. During the interrogation, the accused told the officials that after killing Kanhiya Lal, they went to Shoaib's office in Sapetiya and recorded the video.
