The event provides a valuable platform for scientific discussions as well as encouraging a close partnership between delegates from academia and industry in organometallic chemistry. It is organized every second year and has a now long standing tradition as an exchange platform for all aspects of organometallic chemistry and its applications. Developments, achievements and prospects in all fields of organometallic chemistry will be presented in plenary presentations by distinguished and by young scientists, keynote lectures, as oral communications and posters in various sections.

Robbie has today announced new European dates for his ‘XXV’ tour – celebrating an incredible 25 years as a solo artist. Bringing his high-octane shows to cities across Europe, the new 2023 tour dates kick off with a show in Bologna, Italy on 20 January before taking in cities across the continent including Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin and Barcelona. The arena tour will be a joyous celebration of Robbie’s 25 years as a solo artist following the release earlier this month of his album, ‘XXV’, which features many of his greatest hits and fan favourites from across his solo career. Tickets are available this Wednesday 28 September at 9am BST/10am CET via a pre-sale you can access on the official Robbie Williams store. General sale tickets are available at 9am BST/10am CET on Friday 30 September via the same store. On September 9th, Robbie Williams released his current album “XXV”. To celebrate, he now announces a tour for the coming year. In February 2023, Williams will give concerts in Hamburg, Cologne, Frankfurt and Berlin, among other places. Editor’s recommendation “XXV” presents the hits from his entire solo career, including “Angels”, “Feel” and “Rock DJ”. The Germany shows begin on February 1st in Hamburg and end on February 20th in Berlin. Dear Friends and Colleagues, The XXV congress of the ESSFN, 27 – 30 September 2023, is approaching fast and we are looking forward to welcoming you in Stockholm, Sweden. Sweden is one of the first cradles of stereotactic functional neurosurgery. It is here that Lars Leksell designed the first arc-centered stereotactic frame and invented radiosurgery and the gamma knife: it is here that Lauri Laitinen pioneered the renaissance of surgery for Parkinson´s disease in the post-levodopa era. The XXV congress of the ESSFN will build up on this heritage and extend the horizons of our discipline. The meeting will take place at the Stockholm Waterfront Conference Center. This venue is a spacious and modern architectural creation. Located at lake Mälaren, it resides in the center of the city, within walking distance to most attractions. The organizing committee has been working hard to ensure an interesting and comprehensive meeting of the highest scientific standard, covering both clinical and basic science topics as well as probing into the future of our ever-growing speciality. The distinguished faculty will cover epilepsy, pain, movement disorders and psychiatric disorders, as well as radiosurgery and non-functional stereotactic procedures for brain tumours. We are preparing an exciting social program, and will bid you welcome in the city hall, the scene of the Nobel prize award.
